Donnie,
formerly from Houston, now lives in
Lagos, Nigeria with her husband, Chris
Patriarca. She has learned the art of living life well and has a passion to share it with others. She practices both Yoga and meditation. She and Chris are avid hikers and manage to take at least one backcountry-hiking trip each year.
They are also art collectors
and attend art shows and
museums wherever they go. They
especially like meeting the
artists whose work they collect.
They have a movie date
every Saturday so that
they never stop dating. Additionally,
Donnie enjoys working out at
the gym, enjoying the rich art
and culture of Nigeria,
cooking, reading
and spending time with family
and friends.
Donnie has over 20
years experience as a Business Manager and
equally as much time and experience mentoring
women. Much of what she did as a Business Manager was coaching employees so professional coaching has been a perfect “next right step” for her.
In the last 14 years of her
business career, she served as
Business Manager to a
privately held corporation
that owned four art galleries,
and in that capacity she
worked with artists and
clients as well as employees.
As
a coach, Donnie works with
professionals, transitionals, entrepreneurs,
artists and other
creative types. She has
been coaching professionally for six years and has received a total of 4 years
of training for coaching, has done two supervised practicums and worked with a
mentor coach for two years. Because of her
background and her love of art,
Donnie is a natural as a
coach for artists and
entrepreneurs. Donnie
coaches individuals, couples
and groups. Donnie
is a graduate of Coach
University. She is a
member of the International
Coach Federation and is currently
working toward her Master Coach
Certification with the ICF. She is certified in Reality Therapy by the William Glasser Institute in Los Angeles, and is a practitioner of
Choice Theory.
Donnie finds Choice Theory to be an ideal foundation for her coaching practice.
She is also Former President of the
Houston Coaching Network, the
local chapter of ICF, and Past
Chairman of the Board for HCN.
